    VARIETY:

    100% pinot noir, the old burgundy clone 115 



    THE VINEYARD:

    The area of the vineyard: 1,7 ha, the wine comes from an organically cultivated vineyard

    The vineyard has been cultivated under full organic process. We dispose weeds mechanically, no chemicals applied. They contaminate the groundwater and poison life in soil. We protect vines against fungal diseases applying the bio-preparations that yet through contact and a complex of "green jobs" to keep the vines aerated/airy. In grapes you won't find residues of chemical sprays, which cause headache (measured and tested by UKZUZ - Central Institute for Supervising and Testing in Agriculture). We harvest grapes manually and only the well-matured ones. We love all the hard work and we do it with positive energy, which results in the grapes as well.

     

    WINEMAKER´S NOTE:

    After aging for 12 months some of the classic oak barrels of the wine are ready to be bottled. The remaining part will keep aging. The wine is young and full of taste. The tannins are smooth, acids balanced. The colour is, thanks to the lower quantity of grapes harvested per vine, richer.

    The wine is ready to please lovers of classic Pinot noir. Clone no. 115

    VARIETY:
    Pinot noir 100%

    AT THE VINEYARD:

    The wine comes from an organically cultivated wineyard. It was dry (the weather), that is why we hoed weed manually. Just before the harvest, deer and pheasants nibbled the grapes. We have managed to guard our vineyards against starlings. Still, it seems that we, an organic winery, have to get used to it. Wild animals like pure grapes.


    TASTING NOTES:

    This is a wine made by Tomas out of his small vineyard at CTVRTE plot. How does it taste? I don´t know, he hasn´t let me to taste :-) !

     

    WINEMAKER´S NOTES:

    After 12 months of aging in oak barrels the wine is ready to be bottled. The wine is young, nevertheless, based on customers´feedback, it tastes well already today. The tannins are higher but they begin to harmonize. Thanks to a low quantity of grapes per vine, the colour is riche of cherry compote. The wine is ready to please ale lovers of classic Pinot noir.

    Pinot noir 100%, clone 115, grapes are from Čtvrtě and Trkmanska vineyards 50/50


    THE VINEYARD:

     

    The area for Roučí  2017 is 1,5 ha

    The vineyard has been cultivated under full organic process. We dispose weeds mechanically, no chemicals applied. They contaminate the groundwater and poison life in soil. We protect vines against fungal diseases applying the bio-preparations that yet through contact and a complex of "green jobs" to keep the vines aerated/airy. In grapes you won't find residues of chemical sprays, which cause headache (measured and tested by UKZUZ - Central Institute for Supervising and Testing in Agriculture). We harvest grapes manually and only the well-matured ones. We love all the hard work and we do it with positive energy, which results in the grapes as well.

     

    IN THE CELLAR:

    The wine is elegant, velvety fine. The smell and taste is in harmony. The colour is light, typical for classic Pinot noir. Rouci is the old czech name for Pinot noir, when the old name, than the old clone and a classic work.

  • CHARDONNAY TERASY 2018

    Note: We export this wine to Norway, United Kingdom, Denmark, Austria, Suisse, Slovakia. The wine is served in 2 Michelin star restaurant in London and in others Michelin star restaurants.

     

    VARIETY:

    Chardonnay 100 %


    AT THE VINEYARD:

    The wine comes from an organically cultivated vineyard. We harvested on September 22 and the grapes were really well ripen and healthy. The sugar content was of highest quality level.


    WINEMAKER´S NOTE:

    The wine is aged in 2 French oak 500 litres barrels and on the yeast. We battonage. The wine seems to be well structured and full-body. Taste of apricot, honey, tropical fruit. Unfiltred, untreated. We will bottle it soon. We will sell it in the end of 2018. Cheers!
