    TASTING NOTES:

Roučí 2024 comes from our Čtvrtě vineyard, crafted from Pinot noir clone 115. The grapes spent roughly 14 days on the skins, followed by 14 month of aging in Francois Freres barrels. In early November, we bottled the first barrique, additional barrels will be bottled in March 2026.

The wine shows a deeper color than is typical for Pinot Noir, with a refined bouquet and sweet, silky tannins. Expect a velvety expressions of dark berries - an experience that brings both a smile and sense of joy. We bottle this wine in heavy Burgundy glass to emphasize its character. The 2024 vintage was exceptional, and we hope a few bottles will remain for our archive. Enjoy responsibly, thoughtful tasting lifts the spirit. Cheers.

    ABOUT PINOT NOIR:

Pinot Noir is one of the oldest cultivated grape varieties, grown in our region since the 14th century. We cultivate it in our Čtvrtě and Lumperky (Plumberg) vineyards, using vines sourced directly from France.

This noble variety thrives on cool nights and moderately warm days during ripening, conditions that allow its hallmark elegance to shine. Its typical color ranges from light garnet to brick red with a golden rim. On the palate, Pinot Noir tends to feel light to mediumbodied. Young wines offer refreshing acidity and subtle tannins, with flavors of cherries, strawberries, and raspberries. As the wine matures, it develops notes of plums, rose petals, and delicate spice. With time, Pinot Noir becomes rounder, revealing its finesse and exceptional uniqueness. For these reasons, it remains one of the most cherished and valuable wines worldwide.

    STORAGE AND SERVING

Store Pinot Noir at 12-15ºC, in darkness, with approximately 85% humidity.

After opening, let the wine breathe and serve it in large, wide-bowled glasses. Temperature is key: when too cold, the wine closes up, when too warm, it loses its elegance. Our recommended serving temperature is 16-18ºC. (61-64ºF).

Pinot Noir is an ideal companion for quiet evenings and thoughtful reflection - you'll continue discovering new nuances with every sip.
